The Youth Coalition invites you to join us on a Child, Youth and Family Services Program (CYFSP) Induction Bus Tour. The CYFSP Induction Bus Tour will visit services within the CYFSP Service Delivery Framework, including those providing the CYFSP Gateway, Network Coordination, Case Management, Youth Engagement, Group Programs, Therapeutic Services, Specialist Services and Peak Bodies.
Registrations are now open for the ACT Youth Affairs Conference. Key Speakers include: Professor Judith Bessant (Youth Work Practice + Young People and A New Political Imagery), Michael McQueen (Engaging Gen Y), Meredith Turnbull (Self Care for Program Managers), and Hugh Stephens (Online Engagement & Social Media).
The Youth Coalition is pleased to announce that the annual YOGIE Awards nominations are open.
The YOGIE Awards recognise, celebrate, promote and reward outstanding practice in working with young people in the ACT and surrounding area. The YOGIE Awards are a Youth Coalition of the ACT initiative proudly supported by the Community Services Directorate, ACT Government. This year the Awards Ceremony will be held in conjunction with the ACT Youth Affairs Conference.
The Training and Professional Development Calendar is produced bi-monthly by the Youth Coalition of the ACT, in partnership with the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drug Association ACT (ATODA) and the Mental Health Community Coalition ACT (MHCC ACT). The Training Calendar provides training and professional development opportunities for workers in the youth, alcohol, tobacco and other drug, mental health, family support and community sectors.

Champions ACT is a fun and innovative campaign that seeks to encourage young Canberra people aged 18 - 24 to emulate "champion" behaviour and look after their friends when out drinking. The campaign's promotional team is currently running a series of in-venue promotional activities in local licensed venues.

Welcomed a new Deputy Director, Sarah Jewell to the Youth Coalition.
Established a new relationship between Champions ACT and supporting club venues, including The Vikings Clubs and the Eastlake Group Clubs.
The Youth Coalition of the ACT have been working on a new E-Bulletin newsletter.
